First! I’m a little tired right now though I don’t think I made a dumb purchase. HOWEVER! I know that sometimes when I’m tired, I tend to buy stuff without thinking too thoroughly beforehand. I don’t think this is the case right now (probably not the case).

Second! So this is what happened, I went to the http://www.wnyc.org website, while I was taking a dump in the bathroom, and I started to listen to some of that Nat’l Public Radio crap that I’ve grown quite fond of on my driving to work this week. I usually take the bus but this week I’ve been lucky enough to get the car.
Anyway, I’m listening to WNYC radio sitting on the toilet and the first thing I hear is this thing about the Dalai Lama being in NYC in October and how I can get tickets on the Radio City Music Hall website or something -I’ve never been there. Nevermind that I was taking dump, I log onto the site (Yeah, I had the laptop w/ a wireless connection), I pull my pants up and I walk back into my room to find my credit card. Literally, 5 minutes later, I have a ticket to see the Dalai Lama in October. Right now, I don’t even know which date it is for but I have the E-ticket saved on my computer and I’ll check later. It’s supposed to be 2:00 in the afternoon, THAT I know.
I think I got a good seat. I have no fucking clue.
I’m not really looking to get enlighted. I’m interested because during college, I met these Tibetans who escaped from persecution by the Chinese government and they told me interesting little tidbits of Tibet and about the Dalai Lama. I don’t know how the Dalai Lama would fit in my life. It cost me 45 bucks.
Enlightenment…Oy vey! He’s probably not even going to talk about that. Why do I think that’s what he’s going to talk about. I hear he’s funny. Maybe I can get a picture with him.
