COMPLETELY ILLEGAL RAMBLINGS OF A CONVICTED MASS MURDERER/FINANCE GENIUS !
I read about this a few days ago and I couldn’t believe it. I think this has happened before, right? I mean, in history. Anyway, if you’re not already in the know, Sweden’s Ara Abrahamian won a bronze medal in wrestling and had a hissy fit. He tosses the medal onto the floor like a dummy.

I think he’s banned for life and yeah, I think they did tie. I don’t know how the scoring system for wrestling works but winning bronze @ the Olympics is an honor and although he probably didn’t realize it when he did that but it’s a total slap to everyone who also won a bronze medal.
He was cheated from the final by corrupt referees and a corrupt FILA. His protest will hopefully result in a clean up of FILA.
It was his last match (had planned to give it up a long time) and the judge was bribed, so he announced his competitor the winner although he didn’t score the most points.
Thats why he didn’t want the medal, and I understand him totally! The whole wrestling league is run by Italian Mafiosos.
the other bronze medal winner looked mighty uncomfortable after that. it’s pretty stupid to do that since he actually won even if it isnt silver or gold.

The “tantrum” is the result of an extremely poor decision by the judges, giving away the victory to the Italian wrestler although the Swede was arguably the better of the two. Abrahamian was disqualified for escaping the ring with one hand although the Italian several times earlier in the fight had half of his body out of the ring. It is the opinion of Abrahamian - who is a two-time world champion and not a nobody in wrestling - and many others that FILA is corrupt and that the judgement was a part of FILAs unfair play.
I am certain that if one decidates ones life to become the best of the best, with the sacrifice that that brings over many years of hard training, one would not be too happy if one would loose a potential olympic gold medal because of a flagrant and as it appears aware “mistake” by the judges.
Update:
A poll in a swedish newspaper showed that about 80-90% support Abrahamian.
And equaly important CAS(Court of Arbitration for Sport.) agreed as well. Let´s just say that they really kicked FILAS ass. Basicly said that all of Abrahamians complaits were right. FILA must work towards fair play if the want to be in the olympics.
